I think CBI is going fairly well, we have about 20-30 hits every 12 hours, and 14 readers. Obviously this is not something out of this world, but for me, its something significant. Because I just started to get serious on blogging. And my blog techniques aren’t all that perfect. This includes my advertising, marketing, and social techniques. Although I have gotten several e-mails and comments saying how they like my style of writing and informing I still believe I can do better in all the aspects.
The most popular post I’ve done is actually in process and they its the Starting Your Media Company Part 1 and Part 2. Part 3 is coming soon (tomorrow).
Now I have some good and bad news. Bad news is… I’m starting school tomorrow. And this is going to take away a lot of my blogging time. But believe me, I can make it work. Now the good news is that I’m this close to finishing connecting my bank account to my PayPal account. Finally! I won’t have to rely on mother’s credit card anymore. I’ll start off with a 100 dollar deposit, family will give me 20 dollars a week, 50 dollars a month from other sources and I hope the rest comes from my blogging business.
That’s all for now, thanks for reading!

Phew! Now things are back to normal, I ignored Netfirm’s stupidity and registered the domain name again but this time with 2 addition extensions, those being .net and .org
What does this mean? It means that
- CentralBlogIntelligence.net
- CentralBlogIntelligence.org
- Will lead to CentralBlogIntelligence.com
Is that cool or is that cool? I’m glad I’m finished with Netfirms. Now I’m off to a better start.
Thank you for being a crappy service Netfirms!

Hello everyone, I’d like to take the time out to tell you guys that Netfirms.com is the worst registrar in the Internet/planet/galaxy/universe. Never sign up for one of their services. I am so mad at them right now you can’t even imagine.
This is because a diabolical force actually convinced me to sign up with them. Everything was going great, except for a few annoying troubles I went through when transferring domain names, but then I got an e-mail from them saying asking for a ridiculous task, it read:
To finalize your order we require proof of ownership of the credit card. Please send a fax or scan of the front and back of the credit card used for this purchase showing only the last four digits of the credit card number.
As orders are time-sensitive, this request must be received within the next 2 days at:
Fascimile number: 416-661-0700 or via e-mail at billing@netfirms.com
Thank you,
Netfirms Billing Team
billing@netfirms.com
What the hell. I would have never imagined a self-proclaimed professional service to ask me for this. I quickly replied saying what was the purpose of sending this information and they told me it was necessary because of security reasons. Security reasons? GIVE ME A BREAK. I didn’t perform any action, 2 days went by and my domain name was still there. I was happy, until just a few minutes ago everyone tells me they can’t see my page. I’m devastated right now. BUT FEAR NOT. I won’t let this bring me down. I will deal with the situation immediately.
Wish me luck, later.

I’m loving blogging right now, its a great way to share your thoughts, your ideas, share knowledge, create consiousness about important topics in our everyday life, and so much more. My main project now is Central Blog Intelligence. A place for all kinds of latest information about the web, blogging, and other small miscellanious information. But I’m also liking my personal blog, even if it gets no comments at all. I like expressing myself and I enjoy every minute of writing here.
In other news, what’s up in my life right now? Well, I’m staying at a Wyndham hotel. Yes, I still blog while I’m on vacation! I had to bring over the Internet here for 2 reasons:
- Contest: I’m trying to win a contest by doing several things to accumulate points so the CBI blog gets more exposure.
- Fear: No not fear of the dark, nor the boogeyman. But fear that my domain name would be taken down as I recieved an e-mail from Netfirms telling me that if I didn’t submit a copy of my credit card to them they would cancel my account. But I would never give them such information as to actually giving them a copy of my credit card. Hell no! Anyways, I had fear that my account would get cancelled so I brought the Internet here to deal with the situation, but everything seems to be ok they haven’t taken down the domain so I’m good.
Anyways, that’s all for now folks, later.

- Blogging about this contest - 100 points
- Your blog post needs to be approved for you in order to be credited 100 points. You can post about this contest on a blog, and then PM me so I can check it out. It should link to Webphorum.com and this post atleast once.
- Writing about this contest on a forum - 50 points
- Similar scenario as the above, the post needs to be a quality one, not a single line crap which is made just to get points. Write on a forum describing this contest and have your own words on it. Then submit it to me via a PM. I’ll check it and approve it. It should link to Webphorum.com and this post atleast once.
- Posting on Webphorum - 5 points/post/thread
- Posts such as “Thank you”, “Good info!” don’t count. I’ll manually review all the posts made and then only those posts which are quality ones, will be counted valid for points.
- **Posts in the General Boards and Marketplace will not be considered.
- Linking to Webphorum on your site - 200 points
- Again, you’ll have to submit me your entry so that I can check if the link is valid, if your site is valid (PG-rated, etc) it will be submitted.
- Referring someone to Webphorum - 50 points
- Probably the easiest way to win the competition. But, you’ll have to refer people, not just register yourselves again and again. If caught (in all cases you’ll be), no matter how much points you have, you’ll be terminated from the competition. Use the referral link in your User CP to refer members.
- Subscribe to KushMoney.com via email - 50 points
- The owner of KushMoney, will manually approve subscriptions before you are awarded with points.
- Subscribe to TheUniversityKid.com via email - 50 points
- The university kid will manually approve subscriptions before you are awarded with points.
Dates to note
The contest starts from 26th July and ends on 11th August 16:30 GMT.
Rules
General forum rules apply. You have to be a phorum member to participate. And anyone is eligible unless you happen to be an administrator (awww) or a banned member. If you are found cheating, you would be disqualified immediately from the contest.
Now is it just me or are these prizes insane!? Join up today at WebPhorum.com!

I’m now changing Andre-Ward.net to be a personal blog. Now that I have CentralBlogIntelligence or CBI for short, I don’t see the need to have two blogs for the same thing. I’ll still post any motivating content I can cook up, but it won’t be as frequent. I’ll be working more with CBI from now on. But expect this blog to be filled with my exciting and fun life (sarcasm).
Don’t get confused, I still love Andre-Ward.net but I think it better suits me as I said a personal blog, or a portfolio. I’ll be having contests too here, that goes the same for CBI.
If you’re curious about CBI go visit the page here. It’s all about motivation, articles about blogging, blogging resources, web news, blog news, Internet updates, blogging tips and suggestions and a lot more.
I’m currently looking for co-authors for CBI, so if you’d like to participate send me an e-mail at: andre[at]centralblogintelligence[dot]com
Thank you for reading the update! Until the next blog entry, later.

Hey everyone, I just got notified through Lorelle’s blog that Liz Strauss at Successful-Blog.com is having a blog showcase. And let me tell you, this is the best blog showcase I’ve seen. It has 260 blogs to showcase and…
…a quote from Liz about the showcase:
Each official submission has brought a reason to visit and a bit of advice or wise words for you.
Imagine 260 blogs with words of wisdom for all of us. Plus the fact that we get to see the a wide variety of blogs where we can go an subscribe to its RSS for our own purposes.
Its a very exciting showcase, I recommend anyone and everyone to go and check it out.
Happy browsing!
