So, what is writer’s block exactly? Is it a myth? A fact? A disability? Here’s what Wikipedia (I know its not trustworthy, but bear with me on this) has to say:

Writer’s block is a phenomenon involving temporary loss of ability to begin or continue writing, usually due to lack of inspiration or creativity.

Phenomenon? I don’t think so. In my opinion writers block is the disability which doesn’t exist. Why does it not exist? Simple. Because there is no such thing as running out of creativity nor inspiration. Never. There is always good stuff to write about, always. I mean we’re living in a world populated by 6.680 billion people. What does this mean? It means that somebody out of all those people at least 1 has done something you can write about. Just check out the news, read some books, surf the Internet, talk with friends, visit places, etc.

But Andre, I’m just not motivated enough!

Easy there buddy. You can do it, just think. Take your time, don’t rush things. If you can’t write about something just take a time out. It’ll come to you, I promise. Start reading peoples blogs, do responses to their entries.

There will always be something to write about, never say never. Just try, be positive. Explore your world and think straight. Think my young blogger think!
